What Dr. Ankita can do for you
Pick the problem. Each treatment is explained in everyday words: what it is, how it feels, how long it takes and how to look after yourself afterwards.

An implant replaces a lost tooth with a fixed one. A small metal post goes into the jawbone where the tooth used to be, and a tooth-coloured cap is fitted on top. It doesn't come out like a denture.
- How it feels
- The area is numbed with an injection first, so you feel pressure, not pain. Expect some soreness for a few days.
- How long
- Usually two stages, a few months apart, while the bone settles around the post. Dr. Ankita will give you your own timeline after an X-ray.
- Afterwards
- Soft food for the first days, keep the area clean, and avoid smoking: it slows healing.

A crown is a cap that covers a cracked, worn or root-canal-treated tooth so it is strong again. A bridge fills a gap: a false tooth held in place by caps on the teeth on either side.
- How it feels
- The tooth is numbed and gently shaped. A soft mould of your teeth is taken, and you go home with a temporary cap.
- How long
- Usually two visits: the cap is made between them to fit your bite.
- Afterwards
- Avoid hard or sticky food on the temporary cap. With a bridge, clean under the false tooth every day.

Deep inside every tooth is soft tissue with the nerve. When decay reaches it, it gets infected and aches. A root canal cleans out that infected core, seals the tooth from inside and saves it, instead of pulling it out.
- How it feels
- The tooth is numbed first. Most people say it feels like a long filling.
- How long
- One to three visits, depending on the tooth. A cap often goes on afterwards to protect it.
- Afterwards
- Chew on the other side until the tooth is capped. A mild ache for a few days is common; call if your face swells.

Decay makes a small hole (a cavity) in a tooth. The decayed part is removed and the hole is filled with a tooth-coloured material, so it stops growing and you can chew normally again.
- How it feels
- Small fillings often need no injection; deeper ones are numbed. You'll feel some vibration.
- How long
- Usually one visit.
- Afterwards
- Wait until the numbness wears off before eating, so you don't bite your cheek.

Some teeth are too damaged to save. Wisdom teeth, the last teeth at the very back, sometimes get stuck under the gum and cause pain. An X-ray shows how the tooth sits; a stuck one is removed with a small surgical procedure.
- How it feels
- Fully numbed. You feel pushing and pressure, not pain. A stuck wisdom tooth may need a few stitches.
- How long
- A simple removal is one short visit; a stuck wisdom tooth takes longer, with a check-up after.
- Afterwards
- Bite on the gauze, eat soft cool food, and don't spit, rinse hard or use a straw for a day, so the wound can heal.

Braces slowly move teeth into a straight line. Small brackets are fixed on each tooth and joined by a thin wire that is adjusted bit by bit. Straightening teeth is called orthodontics.
- How it feels
- Teeth feel tight and sore for a few days after fitting and after each adjustment, then settle.
- How long
- Often one to two years, with short check visits every few weeks.
- Afterwards
- Brush carefully around the brackets and skip hard or sticky food that can break them.

Milk teeth matter: they hold space for the adult teeth. Children are seen for check-ups, cavities and toothache, and parents get simple advice on brushing and sweets.
- How it feels
- A first visit is usually just a look and a chat, so your child gets used to the chair.
- How long
- Short visits, kept as calm as possible.
- At home
- Brush twice a day with a rice-grain smear of toothpaste for little ones, and help them brush until they can do it well on their own.

Questions patients ask
Which number should I call?
91118 51111 works for calls and WhatsApp. The clinic's listings also show 94259 57301 and 89626 59507.
Is the clinic open on Sunday?
Different websites list different Sunday timings, so please call before coming on a Sunday or a public holiday.
Do I need an appointment?
Calling or sending a WhatsApp message first is the easiest way to avoid waiting. You can also request a visit with the form above.
Will it hurt?
For most treatments the tooth is numbed with an injection first, so you feel pressure and vibration rather than pain. Tell Dr. Ankita if you are nervous; she can explain each step before it happens.
How much will my treatment cost?
It depends on what your tooth needs, which is only clear after the check-up. Ask at the clinic: the cost is explained before any treatment starts. This website doesn't list prices.
How do I pay?
Cash and UPI are listed on Justdial. Check at the clinic for other options.
What is a root canal, in simple words?
It is a way to save a badly infected tooth. The infected soft core inside the tooth is cleaned out and the tooth is sealed, so it stops hurting and you keep it. Read more about root canals.
